Advancing Education
Education has always been foundational to innovation, advancement, and general function in society. In many ways, access to education has never been easier. However, in a cruel twist of irony, the feeling that the people providing you with services in everyday life, from the banks to the hardware store, have never been less educated on their product continues to grow. We have certainly seen this play out in the insurance space, like many others, where the educated talent has become further and further removed from the client experience. In their place, AI technology, call centers or simply a redirection to the FAQ section of a website has become the standard. Don’t you love it when you literally can’t find a customer service number for a vendor, and you have no one to scream to! REPRESENTATIVE!!!
Let us be clear, education does not have to mean you have a fancy degree or any degree at all. We are talking about people that actually KNOW what they are doing in the career they have chosen, and also possess the empathy to WANT to help their clients.
We view education in four veins at Townley Kenton:
- Educating our clients: At the core of what we do in the insurance space is advise our clients to create safer environments for their companies and families.
- Educating our team: We focus on team education on a literally daily basis. At a minimum, they receive a relevant insight each morning that plants a seed or reinforces a larger idea. This aggressive focus on development creates a team who is well equipped to advise our clients at a higher level each and every day.
- Educating our community: We don’t want to hold our knowledge hostage but rather share what we know to create safter communities around us.
- Educating the next generation: Through scholarship programs and continued engagement of kids and young professionals at a national level, Townley Kenton is continuing to lead in the field of education via INVEST and other non-profit initiatives.
In conclusion, education plays a pivotal role in shaping not only individual success but also the quality of service provided in various industries. At Townley Kenton, we believe in the power of education across four key pillars: educating our clients, team, community, and the next generation. Through continuous learning and sharing of knowledge, we strive to create safer environments, empower our team, uplift our community, and pave the way for future generations to thrive.
