Rob Townley

President

Like his father and grandfather, Rob decided to make insurance his life’s work and he joined the family business in 2005. He eventually bought and took over the company in 2013. When he isn’t working, Rob loves to spend all his time with his wife, Jackie, their two beautiful children, Davis and Lucy, and their beloved three-legged dog, Webster.

Alvin Townley, Jr.

Senior Risk Advisor

Education: Oxford College of Emory University (1967), University of Georgia (BBA, 1969) and (MBA, 1971)

Alvin, Jr. joined his father’s company, then the Alvin M. Townley Insurance Agency, in 1971. He continued to expand the company throughout the 70’s and 80’s, and eventually took it over. He brought in his partner, Alan Kenton, in 2003 and the company became Townley Kenton. He still serves as an advisor to clients and his son, Rob Townley, who now runs the agency. He otherwise enjoys spending time with his wife, Holly, and their children and grandchildren. Alvin also volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America and many other organizations in the community.

What do you like most about working at Townley Kenton?
“I like being able to help both individuals and businesses solve their insurance needs and at the time of a loss, helping to bring the benefits of the insurance proceeds to make them whole.”

Amy Bowyer

Amy is a personal lines expert who has worked in insurance for over 20 years. Outside of work she is the busy mother of three amazing kids, ages 15, 12, and 4.

Lindsey began her career in insurance here at Townley Kenton five years ago and came from a background in health and exercise science. She quickly learned the ropes of insurance as a personal lines account manager and is now also our top new client intake specialist. Outside of work, Lindsey enjoys fashion, food, and taking her dogs for walks in Atlanta’s amazing parks.
